queer-affirmative space for all team-members, volunteers, children and youth.
RADHIKA
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

(she/they) Radhika is a political science graduate from the National University of Singapore. She started Super School India in 2014 to work toward bridging the education gap among Delhi's youth. As the Director and Founder of SSI, she believes that India's socio-economic growth can be achieved only when all genders, especially women and the transgender community, have a safe and equal playing field to work, live, and thrive in.
AYUSHI
PROJECT MANAGER (SKILLS CENTRE) & SENIOR STUDENT

(she/her) Ayushi is in 11th grade in a local government school (Sarvodhya Kanya Vidyalya). She joined Super School India as a student in 2018 when she was all of 14 years old. Then in the pandemic, she moved to teaching English, while learning herself. For the last 5 months, she has formally joined the NGO management team first as an intern-in-training and now the Project Lead. A social cause she cares about is ending caste discrimination. She likes to do hip-hop, read different books and traveling.
BHUMIKA
INTERN (SKILLS CENTRE) & SENIOR STUDENT

(she/her) Bhumika is in 11th grade in a local government school (Sarvodhya Kanya Vidyalya). She joined Super school India as a student in 2021. She then got selected to join the management team of the online learning program. A social cause she cares about is gender equality. She likes painting, listening to music and reading comics.
ROHIT
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER & SENIOR STUDENT

(he/him) Rohit is an undergraduate student in Delhi University. He joined Super School India as a student in 2015 when he was all of 13 years old. A wizard with words, his spoken poetry has made us cry, laugh, and reflect all at the same time. He has been teaching English, while learning himself. For the last 7 months, he has formally joined the SSI team as first the intern-in-training and now the social media manager of our NGO. A social cause he cares about is caste-discrimination and colourism in India. His interests include writing poetry/rap, dancing, and playing indoor/outdoor games.
SHARMEEN
PROJECT MANAGER for MENTOR-A-YOUTH PROGRAM

(she/her) Sharmeen Akhtar is her final year of B.A (Program) from Delhi University. She joined Super School India's team through the reference of her sister who is a teacher at our NGO. She impressed us in the interview round with her calm yet strong personality, along with a deep value system in gender and educational equality. Sharmeen is a leader and a member of the communities our NGO works with. Hence, her insights are essential to the success of the program.
KAJAL
PROJECT MANAGER for MENTOR-A-YOUTH PROGRAM

(she/her) Kajal is a 1st year undergraduate student in Daulat Ram College. She is a TFI alumna, who has proven her mettle time and again during the course of her work stint at our NGO. She is always ready to learn new things and help people in her surroundings. Her biggest strength is to smile in every difficult situation. She believes strongly in rooting ourselves to true and important mission of feminism and would like for people to understand what it is and what it is not.
